How much do dental implants cost?

It depends on how many teeth are involved, the condition of the bone and the type of restoration. A single implant and crown is a different proposition to a full arch. You will leave your consultation with a written quote covering every stage, and we can talk through payment options.

Does getting an implant hurt?

Implant surgery is done under local anaesthetic, with sedation available if you would prefer. Most people describe the days afterwards as tender rather than painful, and manage comfortably with ordinary pain relief.

How long does the whole process take?

A single implant usually takes three to six months from placement to final crown, giving the bone time to heal around it. With All-on-4®, a full arch of fixed provisional teeth is fitted on the day of surgery, and the final bridge follows a few months later.

Am I suitable for implants?

Most healthy adults are. Smoking, uncontrolled diabetes and some medications affect healing, and bone volume matters, which is why we start with a 3D scan. If implants are not the right answer for you, we will say so and talk through the alternatives.

What is the difference between All-on-4® and single implants?

Single implants replace individual teeth one at a time. All-on-4® replaces a whole upper or lower arch on four, sometimes more, implants with a fixed bridge you do not take out. It avoids bone grafting in most cases and gives you working teeth on the day of surgery.
